First Tourney Appearance In Almost 40 Years For Belhaven

The Belhaven men's basketball team is going to the NAIA national tournament for the first time since 1972. The Blazers found out Wednesday they were an at-large pick after losing in the GCAC tournament title game.

Belhaven won 24 games this season, the most in school history.

The Blazers will open the national tournament next Wednesday night at 10:30pm against Biola University. The NAIA tournament is played in Kansas City, MO.
