Jackson police arrest a woman in connection with money missing from the Timberlawn Elementary PTA. They arrested 33-year-old Nicarra Johnson of Jackson and charged her with felony embezzlement. A JPD spokesman says the exact amount of missing cash is unknown, but confirmed the amount is over $500, making the charge a felony.

Johnson was being held at the Raymond jail Wednesday afternoon. Police are calling this case sensitive and say they will not release further specific information. Evidence will be forwarded to the Hinds County District Attorney’s Office.
