Highland Elementary School, in Ridgeland, is taking part in "Moving Student Bodies", an 8-week physical fitness program designed by Physical Education Coach Dock Daniel. The goal? Help students be active at home and outside of the school setting.
Logging a total of 3 hours of physical activity each week--this time is verified by a parent--gives a student the chance to win a free bicycle, donated by Indian Cycle Fitness. Prizes will be awarded to participants this Monday, May 24 at 1 p.m. in the lobby of Highland Elementary School. The grand prize is a 20” bike for a boy and for a girl.
