Local Business Gets Items in Oscar Bags

A local business woman's greeting cards will greet the stars on Oscar night.

Grace Bateman started her business Peru Paper about two years ago in Peru for just family and friends, but developed the company when she came back to the Fondren neighborhood of Jackson.

Bateman told FOX 40 News she just started her Web site for her greeting cards last October, and generate her own Oscar Buzz pretty quickly.

Her greeting cards will be among several items features in the Oscar bags given to nominees and presenters staying at The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles.
